Senior Estimator – Dublin – General Construction

We are currently partnering with a Fit-out contractor with proven success across Europe on Data Centre Projects, Roofing contracts and many more. With capabilities and expertise across the whole construction sector they are looking to expand their team with an experienced Senior Estimator working in their head offices in Dublin.

Responsibilities

•    Lead Estimating Process
Take ownership of the end-to-end estimating process for a wide range of general construction and high-spec fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with company objectives.
•    Tender Preparation & Submission
Prepare detailed and well-structured tender submissions, including cost breakdowns, risk assessments, preliminaries, and value engineering options for both public and private sector clients.
•    Liaise with Internal and External Stakeholders
Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information, clarify scope, and develop accurate pricing strategies.
•    Market & Cost Intelligence
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, material costs, and labour trends, using this insight to benchmark and improve the competitiveness of tenders.
•    Mentoring & Team Support
Provide guidance and support to junior estimators and contribute to the continuous improvement of the estimating department through knowledge sharing, system enhancements, and process development.

Requirements

Must have minimum 7 years’ experience in an estimating role on construction projects
Must have degree level qualification or equivalent trades’ background
Must be based within commutable distance of head offices

Benefits

€80,000 - €120,000 + Benefits
